The Challenge
The client needed manufacturing of a specific satellite component: a barrel. The specification involved multiple grooves and an incredibly thin 1mm wall thickness. They struggled locating a manufacturer capable of prototype production.
How We Helped
Upon client engagement, EMUSKI's NPD Center prioritized speed and accuracy, developing and manufacturing the first prototype within an impressive three-day span of time. This demonstrated capability for space-grade thin-wall geometries and complex grooving.
Outcome
Post-prototype success expanded the partnership scope. The organization now manufactures the entire range of components for satellite production and partners with the client to scale their operations, building the entire flow from prototype to scalable manufacturing.
